SYDNEY - Exercise Groups - June 2012
SYDNEY EXERCISE GROUPS
and private sessions
This 2 hour group will explore gentle and play-full ways to exercise our body using body weight and hand weights. The exercises will be shared in a way that encourages us to feel how our body responds to each movement - so we can choose to work at our own intensity or rhythm, to stay gentle, loving and honoring with our body. Exercising in such a way becomes a play-full and fun experience of exploring and experimenting with our body - enjoying and celebrating how amazing it is and we are.
The first hour of the exercise group will focus on body awareness and posture, exploring ways to become more aware of what is going on in our body during exercise or our work day and every day living. The second half of the group will work on exercises for three key area's of the body that are often, tight, weak, unbalanced or even pain-full - these include; 1. pelvic floor, core muscles and lower back 2. hips and lower body muscles and 3. Rhomboids, upper body and arm muscles.
Date: Saturday 9th of June
Time: 2pm-4pm
Cost: $25
Venue: Ku-ring-gai Library Meeting Room 2, 799 Pacific Highway, Gordon
Bring: A yoga mat, hand weights and pen and paper to write down your exercise program

Dates: Friday 8th, Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th of June
Cost: $70 (Private Health Fund and Medicare Rebates available)

NOTE: The Exercise Group will start on time so please arrive at least 15 min early to set up.
It's recommended that you bring pan and paper to write down the exercises you feel your body needs and enjoys - so you can start to develop your own exercise program
