4 WEEK EXERCISE PROGRAM

 

There is a common belief or ideal that we must exercise for a long period of time or at high intensity to benefit from the 'work out'. This exercise program is an opportunity to feel and begin to become aware of another way of moving and being with your body in exercise. Not making exercise about what is achieved or aiming to increase or improve, but making it about being completely with your body in movement and enjoying how this feels, then taking this connection and awareness with you throughout your whole day. 

 

The exercise groups will explore different exercises and ways to truly feel what is happening in your body during exercise, feeling and becoming more aware of your technique, posture and which muscle you are using during each exercise. The hall will be open at 6am and it is recommended that you arrive early and take a 15-30min walk or complete some gentle movement and stretching before the start of the group.

 

Days: Tuesdays 31/01, 7/02, 14/02 and 21/02

Time: 6.15am-7am

Location: Universal Medicine Hall

Cost: $60 for whole program

 

 

REGISTRATION IS ESSENTIAL

NOTE: Groups will start on time so please arrive at least 10 min early to allow time to set up. 

It's recommended that you bring pen and paper to write down the exercises 

you feel your body needs and enjoys - so you can start to develop your own exercise program.
