GOLD COAST - Exercise Groups - 2012 Schedule
GOLD COAST EXERCISE GROUPS
Explore different ways to exercise your body gently and playfully, using hand weights, thera-bands, body weight or movements in the water. Feeling your body as you exercise you can begin to understand what you enjoy or what exercises you need for a short-term or long-term training program. Developing an exercise program that is based on what you feel in your body on a day-to-day bases allows exercise to begin to be a play-full and fun experience, that honors what your body truly needs.
The exercise groups will work on three key area's of the body that are often, tight, weak, unbalanced or even painfull - this includes; 1. pelvic floor, core muscles and lower back 2. hips and lower body muscles and 3. shoulder, rhomboid, chest and arm muscles. The hall will be open 30min before the start, it is recommended that you arrive early and take a 15-30min walk or complete some gentle stretching and movement before the start of the groups.

Bring: A yoga matt, blanket and pilow (for your own comfort), light hand weights (0.5 to 1.5kg), water bottle, wear warm clothing that is comfortable to move in.
PRIVATE SESSIONS
Available on Fridays of the above dates at UniMed Brisbane
$70 for one hour (health fund and medicare rebates available)
REGISTRATION IS ESSENTIAL By 5pm Thursday before the event

NOTE: Groups will start on time so please arrive at least 10 min early to allow time to set up.
It's recommended that you bring pen and paper to write down the exercises
you feel your body needs and enjoys - so you can start to develop your exercise program.
